Reilly Storer

Junior Pitching Coach

We’re thrilled to welcome back Reilly Storer to The Elkland Hub! Reilly is a sophomore at Mansfield University majoring in Elementary Education, and her passion for working with young athletes shines through in every session. 

She’s been training in internal rotation pitching for the past three years under Head Instructor Shannon Fleishman, and began coaching at the Hub this past summer. Athletic Highlights • 2022 NYS Class A Finalist • 2023 All-Division Class A • 2x STAC All-Star • Played high school ball at Vestal • Travel ball with NY Titans 18U Gold Reilly’s energy, patience, and love for the game make her an incredible mentor for young pitchers. She’s especially gifted at helping kids build confidence and track their progress over time.

Shannon Fleishman

Head Instructor

Shannon is a true force in the world of softball. With over two decades of coaching experience and an elite playing background, Shannon brings unmatched expertise, leadership, and passion to our athletes.

Shannon’s approach to pitching instruction is rooted in safety, efficiency, and precision. She teaches the fundamentals of the underhand motion with a focus on posture, stability, arm whip, and leg drive mechanics—ensuring athletes build a strong and sustainable foundation. Her advanced understanding of spin dynamics allows her to guide pitchers in mastering movement pitches that elevate their game to the next level. Whether you're just starting out or chasing collegiate dreams, Shannon is here to help you grow with confidence, skill, and grit. Train with a legend. Learn from the best. Playing Career Highlights: • Varsity standout at Haverling High School (’95–’00) • Empire State Women’s Softball Team – Gold Medalist (’98), Silver Medalist (’00) • Division I pitcher at Centenary College of Louisiana and Binghamton University • Inducted into the Haverling High School Athletics Hall of Fame (’21) Coaching Career Highlights: • 20 years as a pitching instructor • Assistant Coach at Keuka College – led staff to a top-10 NCAA ERA ranking • Assistant Coach at Alfred University – nationally ranked pitching staff • Head Coach at Andover Varsity – 3x Section V Class DD Champions, Far West Regional Champs, and first-ever State Final Four appearance in school history • Inducted into Keuka College Athletics Hall of Fame (’17)

Logan Hamilton

Hitting & Catching Coach

A lifelong softball player with a deep love for the game, Logan brings years of competitive experience and a calm, confidence‑building teaching style that athletes of all ages connect with.

Logan grew up on the field, playing for the New York Lady Rebels (12U–16U) out of Elmira and later competing with the Smash It Sports College Showcase Teams (16U & 18U) in Rochester. She also adds valuable college level experience from Pennsylvania College of Technology, giving her a well rounded understanding of the game from youth through collegiate play. Athletic Highlights: - Captain of the CV High School Softball Team - Athlete of the Week - All Tioga County Softball Team - All Region Softball Team - NTL Athlete of the Year Nominee - Tioga County Sports Hall of Fame Recipient - PIAA District IV Outstanding Female Athlete – CVHS Logan is known for her strong fundamentals, clear communication, and ability to make athletes feel supported and capable. Her instruction focuses on age appropriate skill development, confidence, and having fun, making her an incredible fit for hitters and catchers looking to grow their game.

Chase Austin

Baseball Pitching Instructor

Chase is a dedicated pitching instructor at The Elkland Hub whose blend of competitive baseball experience and educational expertise makes him an exceptional mentor for developing athletes.

He brings a calm, knowledgeable presence and a deep understanding of pitching mechanics, mindset, and long-term athlete development. Playing Career Highlights: • Four-year varsity starter at Williamson High School • 2017: First Team All-Region, First Team All-District • 2016: First Team All-District, Second Team All-Region • Collegiate pitcher at Lock Haven University (two seasons) • Three-year pitcher for the Elmira Pioneers of the PGCBL, competing against top collegiate talent Coaching & Professional Background • Former collegiate pitcher with extensive competitive experience • Strong foundation in youth development and instruction • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Lock Haven University • Current third-grade teacher at R.B. Walter Elementary School • Pursuing a master’s degree in Administration and Coaching at Point Park University Coaching Philosophy: Chase’s approach to pitching instruction blends technical precision with athlete-centered teaching. His background in education gives him a unique ability to break down complex mechanics into clear, accessible steps that athletes of all ages can understand. He emphasizes proper sequencing, efficient movement patterns, and repeatable mechanics—helping pitchers build confidence, consistency, and long-term durability. Whether you’re learning the basics or refining advanced pitch design, Chase provides a supportive, structured environment where athletes can grow with purpose and pride.

Lexi Smalley

Catching Coach

A standout junior at Williamson High School, Lexi is ranked #1 catcher in the NTL and 3rd in AA in the state of Pennsylvania —and she brings both elite skill and unmatched passion to the field.

With 12 years of softball experience and 6 years behind the plate, Lexi currently plays for Williamson Varsity and the Rock Gold 18U national travel team. She also catches bullpen for Division I Power 4 pitchers. Her resume is stacked with accomplishments, including County Defensive Player of the Year and 2nd Team All-Region, but what sets her apart is her dedication to the game and her community. - Academic Student of the Year - Fierce competitor with a love for teaching - Active in community service - Passionate about developing the next generation of catchers Whether you're just starting out or looking to sharpen your edge, Lexi brings the energy, expertise, and mentorship to help you level up.
